Director, humane investigator and producer, Katia Louise is an international award winning filmmaker whose acclaimed film, SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED has won many prestigious awards including Best in Festival at the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival and the RBC Best Environmental Film Award at Film North International Film Festival in Canada.

Katia Louise's most recognized film and television appearances include TAKE with Minnie Driver, WORLD TRADE CENTER with Nicolas Cage, YES DEAR, and HUFF with Hank Azaria.

Katia is also an inspirational speaker and a highly regarded champion for the health and welfare of animals. Through her work as an advocate for America’s wild horses and burros, the safety and welfare of retired Thoroughbreds and the protection of all breeds of equines from slaughter, she is known as one of the nation’s leading humane researchers and inspirational speakers on issues of equine protection.

Katia has devoted her life to rescuing and helping wild and domestic horses in need. She is the President and volunteer Executive Director of WILD FOR LIFE FOUNDATION INC, (WFLF), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit all volunteer charity, dedicated to protecting, saving and preserving equines.
