In 2008, when Wild for life Foundation set out to establish its equine rescue and sanctuary program, our goal was to save the lives of high-risk horses and raise awareness for the need to protect them from cruelty. Six years later, this program has transcended even our wildest wishes, filling us with great pride and motivating us to do even more. In 2012, we began development of our vision for the new millennium, the western regional animal sanctuary and preserve plan comprised of natural habitat preserves, captive wildlife and companion animal sanctuaries. Phase one of WFLF's master plan includes the acquisition of 72 acres in Fallbrook, CA where the mild climate, lush vegetation and rolling hills of a new Sanctuary Center are the perfect setting for an animal sanctuary and wellness center. Plans for the Sanctuary Center include animal rescue programming for equines and canines. As a WFLF Development Chair for the Sanctuary Center, and an Advisory Board Member, Ms. Casati will be playing an active roll both in the Sanctuary Center programs.
